So, everything was stellar. Mom was surprised that it wasn't the usual Halloween Party, especially with the really "scary" decorations of her in a pinafore dress, saddle shoes, and bow in her hair at age 4.
Mom will respond on her blog post as soon as I sign her in. That could be by the next birthday... but we're going to try to blast into the 21st Century this afternoon.
Thank you to all those who contributed photos, letter, greetings, comments, and just plain phone calls, to remember this special day.

Birthday Greetings
Happy Birthday Roz! How could I have known you so long and not known your birthday was on Halloween? Or maybe I knew but forgot—at my age a more likely scenario!
My guess is that if you’re not in Florida yet, you’re on your way. Happy travels and have a great season here. I look forward to our get together in Arcadia, and hoping to see you at SWIM (back at Owaissa Bauer) in December.
Have a great birthday, a wonderful year, and a fantastic life! Brightest blessings,
Mary Ann

Surprise! This Is Your Birthday Blog, Mom!
We've been having too much fun gathering vintage photos and planning all this social media behind your back. See what happens when you're not on Facebook? LOL
Everyone has been so creative and enthusiastic that the project snowballed into this: a real-time blog for birthday wishes. (Thanks to Scott -- and major thanks to Aunt Bernice-- the family archivists, Aunt Cookie for dusting off those bad 80s hair fotos, and even Uncle Howie provided "The Wonder Years" background 3000 miles away.)
If anything, this whole project proves that you always have peeps who love you :) Even if you're half-way around the world, or even in the Deep Swamp, you can always keep in touch.
Happy Birthday, Mom! And more!
Love,
Cheryl (not a munkee)
